ProviderSchedule Your First Appointment
To begin, please book a consultation with our team to assess your orthodontic condition and discuss your needs and goals. After that, we will create a plan for your orthodontic treatment.
Fill Out the New Patient Form
Once you have your consultation scheduled, you will need to complete our Dental & Medical Health History Form. We encourage you to fill out the form online prior to your first appointment.
The Consultation Process
The initial consultation process typically takes around an hour to complete and will be led by one of our treatment coordinators. We look forward to meeting you!
Arrive & Get Settled
We recommend that you arrive about 10 minutes early to get settled and complete any necessary paperwork. Upon arrival, a member of our front reception team will greet you.
While you wait, you can relax in our comfortable reception room. Our Campbell River, Nanaimo and Langford locations even have a dedicated children's area to keep little ones busy while waiting!
We will then show you to a private consultation room where you can wait for your appointment to begin.
Assessment & Photos
We will begin the consultation by discussing your concerns and treatment goals. Additionally, we will take some 'Before Treatment' photos of your smile.
Customized Treatment Plan
At this point in the process, you'll meet with our treatment coordinator to discuss your health history (if needed) and review the imaging for signs of orthodontic issues.
After evaluating the exam and imaging results, our orthodontist will identify your condition and create a tailored treatment plan to address it and achieve your goals. The treatment coordinator and orthodontist will discuss this plan with you and highlight the important details.
This plan will include treatment recommendations, a projected timeline for treatment completion, and an appointment schedule.
We will also discuss a payment game plan for your treatment. This will include your payment plan, insurance coverage, and financing should you choose to take advantage of that option.

Next Steps
At the end of the appointment, we will discuss the upcoming steps to initiate your treatment plan and arrange your next appointment(s).
